System requirements:
To install POI FINDER and later to complete the download of special locations to your SatNav you will need (besides your SatNav device) a PC which meets minimal system requirements and an internet connection.
Connection between the PC and the SatNav device:
For the successful transfer of data from your PC to your navigation system and to complete installation of POI FINDER, the registration, the setting up of special locations and insider tips etc., you need to have either Microsoft Activ-sync or Windows mobile device centre on your PC. A few navigation systems do not support Microsoft Activ-sync or Windows mobile device centre. They either need a different synchronsiation software or none at all.
Registering POIs yourself (web2.0):
Have you found special locations and insider tips which you would like to save? Simply click on the menu "create POIs" and add the POIs to one of the categories already installed on your system. From now on these special locations and insider tips will be displayed for you. Please note that all new POIs will be made accessible to the user community when you synchronise your data with our server.
