What are POIs?
POI is an abbreviation and stands for "Point of Interest".
Also widely used and is the abbreviation OVI "Ort von Interesse" which is the German equivalent of the term point of interest.
POIs are locations and destinations which, in the course of a journey from A to B, could interest the user.
It can also refer to very different things:
From interesting sights like castles and museums, to restaurants or better value petrol stations on your route, or for instance leisure parks or even „costly“ Speed Cameras, which can be displayed before you pass them.
