The favourite locations for setting-up Speed Traps have been researched in detail and collected for this database. A large part of this information comes from customers themselves. Just like you are used to hearing it on the radio, customers have the ability to record mobile and fixed speed cameras so that we can include this information in our database. This database is one of the most complete and more importantly up-to-date in this section.
The (approximate) coverage of the fixed speed cameras is 95% and is constantly being improved and expanded.
With our POI FINDER speed camera package it is not about clearing the way for speeding drivers, but rather to advise about typical danger points on the road network, so that the driver can - optimally before starting - be prepared for the traffic and thus drive more safely en-route to his destination.
