This document explains the different data which we hold from you, how we treat this information and how we change this information so that it is up to date.

Collecting data
Every internet server registers automatically the access requests to websites. When you visit our website our server registers temporarily, as a security precaution, the domain name or the IP address of the enquiring computer as well as the access date, the filenames and the URL which you visited, the HTTP reply code and the website from which you visit us as well as the bytes transferred during the connection. This information is saved anonymously. It is not possible to identify the person or his/her behaviour from this data. Futhermore personal data are not registered unless this information is explicitly provided by you, for example as part of a customer order. We treat your data responsibly and according to the legal requirements.

Use of data
Computer related data will be saved by us in order to observe trends and to generate statistics. The saved data also serves to identify and track unauthorised attempts to access our server. We generate exclusively anonymous profiles about the use of our website only to improve the user`s navigation and to optimise the range of products for users. No personally related surf profiles or similar profiles are generated or processed.

We collect, save and process your personal data only as far as this is necessary for the completion of customer orders or enquiries. To facilitate this we may share information with a third party involved in the order transaction. In addition we will not pass your data on to a third party, unless we are compelled to do so for legal reasons or because you determine this yourself.
We gladly keep you informed about our products and services and would also ask about this when appropriate. While reserving your right to refuse we may create user profiles under pseudonyms for the purposes of market research, advertising or on demand services.

The personal data which are transmitted to us (for example : your name and address or email address) will only be used for postal correspondence with you or for the exclusive purposes for which you supply the data to us. We will use your address to inform you occasionally about our products and services as well as new developements. Using your data we may also contact you as part of a survey on customer satisfaction, for market research and for our own promotional purposes.

Naturally you may at any time decline all outgoing (unsolicited) contact from us simply by writing to our postal or email address.

Cookies
We use different techniques to record information about use of the website and user requests, including the use of so-called cookies. Cookies help to make internet use and electronic communication easier.
Cookies are small text files (max. size 4KB) which our website sends to your browser and which are stored on your PC in order for it to act as anonymous identification. The function of the cookies is, for example, to improve your navigation when visiting our website, and to enable effective support when you return to our website. Without this temporary "in between storage" it would be necessary to re-input standard data which has already been input previously when using some applications. A cookie only contains data which a server outputs, or/and data that the user inputs on request (e.g. internet connections : domain information, path, expiry date, cookie name and value). They contain purely technical information, there are no names or other personal data. A cookie cannot secretly search a hard drive.
If you wish you can prevent cookies from being saved through your web browser or you can decide to allow cookies only after you have been asked for your agreement. If you do not accept cookies it could however have the effect that some websites cannot be fully displayed.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer that allow us to analyse the use of our website. The information saved in these cookies about your use of our website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other use of the website and Internet services. Google will transmit this information to third parties within the limits of the law or to third parties processing this data on Google's behalf. Google will under no circumstances link your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the saving of cookies by changing the appropriate setting within your Internet browser; we would like to point out, however, that you will not be able to make full use of the website and its features, should you do this. By using this website, you are agreeing to the processing of data gathered from you by Google in the methods described above, and with the purposes to which those data are put.
